Embark on a culinary adventure with Cara, right from the comfort of your kitchen, as she shares a delicious and creative new recipe!
This month, join Cara in creating a festive holiday snack board showcasing the beloved Muhammara Dip – a perfect crowd-pleaser for your celebrations! (Or to enjoy all to yourself 😏) This is naturally a vegan & gluten free recipe that everyone I know LOVES!
Tools you may need
- Oven/toaster oven
- Blender/Food Processor
- Cutting Board & Knife
- Serving plate/platter/board
Ingredients
- 2 or 3 red peppers
- 1 cup walnuts or almonds
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- *Optional (hard-to-find) ingredients - 1/2 tsp ground sumac, 1tbsp pomegranate molasses (can be replaced with balsamic glaze)
- *Optional toppings - sesame seeds, balsamic glaze
Muhammara Dip is the star of the snack board show & you get to decide what else you'd like to add!
I will often pair this dip with a crudités plate of beautiful veggies.
Here are some of my favorite optional additions:
- Crudités veggies- carrots, watermelon radishes, snap peas, red peppers, green beans, cauliflower
- crackers
- pickled veggies
- olives
- smoked meats
- cheeses
